What we collect. When you use the contact form or email us, we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, organisation, phone number if given, and the content of your message and any attachments. When you browse the site, our hosting provider (GoDaddy) automatically records technical information such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited and the date and time of your visit.
Why we use it. We use your details to respond to your enquiry, to provide and manage the services you ask for, to keep our records and accounts, and to keep the website secure and working properly. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running our business and answering the people who contact us, or the steps needed to enter into a contract with you. We will only send you marketing emails if you have agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time.
Cookies and analytics. This site uses cookies to make the website work and to understand how visitors use it. GoDaddy provides basic visitor statistics, and the contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. You can decline non-essential cookies using the banner on the site or your browser settings.
Who we share it with. We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers who help us run the business: GoDaddy (website hosting and forms), Microsoft 365 (email), Google (reCAPTCHA), and professional advisers such as our accountants where necessary. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, appropriate safeguards such as UK-approved standard contractual clauses are in place.
How long we keep it. We keep enquiry details for up to two years after our last contact with you, and client records for six years after the end of our work together, to meet legal and accounting requirements. Technical logs are kept for a short period for security purposes.
Your rights. You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to ask for it to be transferred to another provider. To exercise any of these rights, email info@itsupport-int.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
